Day 0

Today was all about the check-in, rules, Type-A's, and meeting the other riders. Oh yeah! And hitting the Pacific Ocean to dunk my tires and everybodys dreams.

Scott is with me. I snuck another night with him. Just means I get up a little early and sneak back to my room at the neighboring hotel. That will be the final good-bye. We'll meet up again in New Hampshire on August 10.

One more thing. As I prepared today to take off on my dream ride, my training pal lived out hers. The Amazing Alison Burnett completed her 3rd Ironman Triathalon. Ironman Coeur d'Alene, ID. Finishing with a PR to top it off. You Rock Chick!
