Count down begins! 120 Days
So here I am at the begining so to speak 120 days before my trip begins. Today is the day the training map begins. The goals for the next 30 days 1. To become comfortable on a bike 50miles 5 days a week. 2. Drop the 10lbs I thought I wanted to take with me. Then I saw Lance. No extra luggage. 3. To become technically savy. That will be the toughest. I need to learn how to work my phone. The iphone will become my life line. If I can learn to use it. I need a new watch, looking at a Garmin. Then I'll have to learn to use it. If I do, then I can stop trying to figure out the computer thingy on my bike. I hope 120 days are enough. Todays ride... 50 miles, alone. 3hrs. 8min. and my shuffle died. Must remember to charge the night before.
